The proposals of “Kaunas 2022” logo and visual identity contest will be evaluated by an international jury of experts:

Graphic and typeface designer from Netherlands. Peter runs a studio Typotheque, working with type design (designing fonts, publishing them, and selling them). He also runs a magazine called Works That Work
2. WILL RUST (United Kingdom)

3. FION DOBBIN (Latvia)
Fionn Dobbin is the Founder and Creative Director of the Design Consultancy AGE5, the social business production company MAMMU and tech start up CROWD MEDIA. An industrial Designer by training he has won several awards while working as a creative director for event, design and marketing agencies such as the EVA award, the Galaxy Award, and the AIT Award.
As a innovation designer and creative consultant he has worked for more than 30 brands such as fortune 100 companies like General Motors , BASF and ADIDAS .
4. GINTARAS ŠEPUTIS (Lithuania)
Director at LithuanianAssociation of Communication Agencies.
5. MARIUS DIRGĖLA (Lithuania)
Founder of Lithuanian Design Forum, head of communication unit of Vilnius Academy of Arts, project manager of Lithuanian Design Award “Good Design”.
6. VIKTORAS BACHMETJEVAS (Lithuania)
Consultant of Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania, philosopher.
7. JŪRATĖ TUTLYTĖ (Lithuania)
Curator of “Kaunas 2022” Designing Happiness platform. Associate Professor at the Arts Department of Vytautas Magnus University, art theorist, and researcher in the fields of architecture and design of the 20th and 21st centuries, contemporary processes of urban culture and territorial planning, paradigms of creativity and cultural industries, and other.
8. VIRGINIJA VIKTIENĖ (Lithuania)
Artistic director of “Kaunas 2022”. Art critic, art curator, head of Kaunas Biennial, chairwoman of the Lithuanian Culture Institute council.
9. RYTIS ZEMKAUSKAS (Lithuania)
The Curator of „Kaunas 2022” Myth platform, TV journalist, show host, producer, film sound recorder and writer.
“Kaunas 2022” is postponing the deadline of the international contest to create visual identity for the programme Kaunas – European Capital of Culture. In accordance with The Lithuanian Law on Public Procurement, these modifications were made to the rules of the contest.
The new contest deadline is November 3rd, 2017;
The winning proposal will include the logo which will be used for the communication of the programme Kaunas – European Capital of Culture from 2017 to 2023, it will replace the temporary logo that’s being used right now. The requirements for the new visual identity, along with any other relevant information, are included in a detailed description of the contest.
The ideas of the contest proposals should be based on the mission and values of the programme Kaunas – European Capital of Culture.
