Kaunas and I

Kaunas is a city that both every Lithuanian and every European can and must be proud of. Teodoras Narbutas left us the legend about Kaunis. Kaunis is a Lithuanian Apollo – a god of light, spring, arts and especially, music, singing and poetry. The Valley of Songs (Lithuanian: Dainų slėnis), Musical Theatre, Philharmonic, Laisvės alėja and many other places are his home.

Let’s work together, shoulder to shoulder and from the heart in order to explore the historical and cultural layers of Kaunas and their depths. Let’s use the potential of this city. Let’s create our own legend. Let “Dream” by Naujalis be the vision of Laisvės Alėja and all the possible dreams related to our temporary and modern capital, looking back at our professional music roots and into the future at things we do not even dream about.
