Residential house and cinema “Kapitol”

Former house of a military doctor and reserve colonel Pranas Šližys with a cinema "Kapitol" (later "Kanklės"). "Kapitol" became a favorite cinema because of good sound equipment. Today the office of the project "Kaunas 2022 – European Capital of Culture" is located in the building.

Former house of countess S. Montvilaitė-O'Rourke. From 1939 to 1941 Jonas Kriaučiūnas, the editor of the magazines "Varpas" and "Ūkininkas", also lived here.

Residential house of Janina Rožanskienė

This house was built in 1939 and belonged to the dentist Janina Rožanskienė. She not only lived, but also worked here. No less interesting is the fact that the doctor took care not only of the beauty of his patients' mouths, but also of the street, where the house stood.

Summerhouse of engineer E. Venckiavičius

According to current owners, this summerhouse was built in 1939. It belonged to Venckiavičiai family. It is not yet known who is the author of this villa project. It is believed that it was designed by the first homeowner himself, in consultation with architect V. Landsbergis, who had the summerhouse in the neighborhood. The house has remained essentially unchanged until today.

Garage of American–Lithuanian trade company (“AMLIT”)

In 1921 The American–Lithuanian Trade Company (“Amlitas”) was established. It is considered to be one of the major players in the development of inter-war Lithuania motoring and transport. The company, which at the beginning was specializing in the sale and repair of cars and tractors and their parts, later expanded its activities to collect Amlit bicycles adapted for the Lithuanian provincial roads, Ford passenger cars, as well as buses for the city of Kaunas.

Former house of lawyer Benediktas Grėbliūnas-Grėbliauskas, he was also one of the founders of the youth union “Jaunoji Lietuva” (Young Lithuania Union).
