Open call for a creative project in Ringaudai Eldership!

Ringaudai is one of the elderships of Kaunas district participating in the project “Modern Elderships”, which is initiated by “Kaunas and Kaunas District – European Capital of Culture 2022”. In previous years, the community of Ringaudai eldership sought connections between traditional and modern culture, organized photography exhibitions, and made a documentary film. This year, the artists living in Ringaudai eldership are conducting educational workshops and create the content of the collective art publication “Ringaudai Almanac”.

For 2022, we are looking for artists whose works would appear in an open space of Ringaudai eldership (Noreikiškių Bičiulių Bendruomenės Parkas (Bičiulių g. 51, Noreikiškės, Kauno r.) and would be both decorative and functional. The residents of Ringaudai eldership would like to receive an installation, sculpture or small architectural work suitable for outdoor conditions.

Our expectations for the future art project:
– the creative process involves the community of Ringaudai eldership;
– it combines elements of traditional and modern culture;
– the installed piece of art is interactive.

Budget: EUR 3000 (artistic fee + material and implementation).

We are waiting for your portfolio and proposal until April 30, 2021: https://forms.gle/YzYGsiBUEDXax22X7
