Friendship, communion, neighborhood!

A neighbor is the one to lend you  sugar, take Your dog for a walk, help You to start the car, reward You with a morning smile and share the spicy news from around the block! 🌶

The Courtyard festival aims to nourish neighborly relations and foster the community spirit among the residents of Kaunas city and district. The event invites to spend some quality time with Your neighbor since 2018.

The celebration takes place as the International Neighborhood Day approaches. The participants of the event – communities, organizations and neighbors – bring their tables to the city center and decorate it with white tablecloths and flowers. The impressive line of tables in the city center symbolizes the friendship and unity of the people of Kaunas and Kaunas district.

During the event, the participants do not only share dishes and stories – they also reveal their talents, let it be dance, musical performances or improvised paintings. 

The Courtyard festival is open to everyone who loves their neighbors and Kaunas.
