Kaunas 2022 team called for a return to the environment and sustainability around us for the 3rd International Day of Happiness celebration in Lithuania. What does it mean for all of us to get along with the environment? Do we care what we leave behind for future generations? How we conserve its resources, cleanliness, and quality? What does “sustainability” mean in our lives and activities?

However, in response to the situation – a global pandemic – all events, even the smallest ones, had to be cancelled for the protection of public health. Despite that, the suspension of activities and events didn’t become an obstacle to celebrating the International Day of Happiness. Some of the partners’ events, inspired by this year’s theme of ecology and sustainability, were moved to a virtual space.
