Nadja Grizzo (Essen, Germany) is a freelance consultant for European Capital of Culture candidates and title-holders and is part of the consultancy network Inside Track. She has first-hand ECoC experience from Essen/RUHR.2010 (Germany). As a part of the application and the implementation team, Nadja had the chance to experience and co-create the entire process of RUHR.2010 from the first ideas in 2003 until the end of the successful title year. She calls that phase the most exhausting and rewarding years of her professional life so far… Since 2011 she shares her knowledge and experience with more than 15 candidate cities, among them currently Veszprém 2023 in Hungary, Tartu 2024 in Estonia and Magdeburg 2025 in Germany. She also works with cities that have been awarded the ECoC title recently: Pafos 2017 in Greece, Plovdiv 2019 in Bulgaria, Esch-sur-Alzette 2022 in Luxemburg, and Kaunas 2022 in Lithuania.
