Immie Jonkman (Leewarden-Fryslan, Netherlands) is a member of the artistic team, creative producer and manager of the community programme in Leewarden-Fryslan – European Capital of Culture 2018. Immie works with the artistic side, marketing/communications, finances (budget control and fundraising) and supervising. She has acquired experience in cultural, political, business and creative environments. Immie also worked as a journalist for five years at a regional broadcasting company and served as a project leader for large events. She is a member of the executive board for Youth Culture Fund of Fryslan and the Royal Association of the Frisian Eleven, which organises the famous eleven-city ice skating race.
