Eva Žáková is the head of the Creative Europe – Culture Desk from 2003 and the head of the Arts Institute Department of Arts and Theatre Institute since 2005. She is the cultural and creative industries expert (she was a chief researcher of Mapping the Cultural and Creative Industries in the Czech Republic) and the cultural policy expert. She was the member of the EU OMC (Open Method of Coordination group) working and is the member of the Expert Evaluation Committee of the social science applied research (ÉTA TAČR) in the Czech Republic.
