Andrius Ropolas

Andrius is an architect, journalist, critic and a partner of the Office De Architecture. He has been mentioned in several publications, including books: Self Sufficient CityLaisvės architektūra (Architecture of Liberty), an interview for The Moscow News and others. He is running a blog archata.lt, writing articles to one of the biggest news websites in Lithuania 15min.lt and contributing to various magazines. His alma maters are Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA), The University of Tokyo and KU Leuven where he has received Master’s degree magna cum laude. Andrius has worked in Denmark (SLETH), Belgium (51n4e), Japan (Kengo Kuma and Associates) and United Kingdom (PLP Architecture) with projects ranging from invited high-rise and Masterplan competitions to social housing and public projects. He is a co-creator of the Lithuanian Pavillion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018.
