Huriye Armağan Doğan is an architect with specialisation in cultural heritage protection and a researcher. Before her full-time scientific occupation, she practised as an architect in Turkey in various restoration projects which allowed her to explore the relationship between research and practice in particular. She finished her Bachelor’s in 2008, her Master’s in 2011, and her PhD in 2020. She is currently a researcher at Kaunas University of Technology, in Institute of Architecture and Construction. Her research interests are Adaptive reuse, Preservation and Perception of Cultural Heritage, Modern Movement, Early 20th Century Architecture, Conservation, Cultural Memory.
