After Kudo graduated Waseda University, he started working as an editor. He had worked at a publisher IDG Sweden in Stockholm for 4 years as Editor in Chief for a video game magazine. After returning to Japan, he started out his career as Branding Manager/Communications Director at teamLab. Kudo now manages teamLab’s entire branding aspects while committing himself to a specific project that needs growth hacking.

TeamLab (formed in 2001) is a collective, interdisciplinary creative group that brings together professionals from various fields of practice in the digital society: artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians, architects, web and print graphic designers and editors. Referring to themselves as ultratechnologists, the group aims to go beyond the boundaries between art, science, technology and creativity, through co-creative activities.
