Tadas Šarūnas is a sociolgist and visual artist. In his creative and research practice, he is working on wider questions of moral panic and social construction of self. His key academic interests are cultural sociology and urban sociology. For the last 15 years, Tadas was consulting national and European institutions on monitoring of public interventions and on policy assessment. He was leading the external assessment of the Kaunas European Capital of Culture 2022 project.
