Ragnhildur Zoega, born in Iceland 1959, studied languages and journalism at the University of Iceland. She has been working with various European cultural and educational programmes for over 20 years. She now directs the cultural department at the Icelandic Centre for Research, www.rannis.is. Ragnhildur has managed the Creative Europe /culture programme desk office in Iceland since 2013. The Centre is also home to many Icelandic cultural national funds, like artists’ salaries, music funds and performance art.
