Marius Pečiulis – museologist, historian, director of the Republican Kaunas Ninth Fort Museum (Kaunas, Lithuania). Graduated from Vytautas Magnus University with a degree in history in 2008. The main interests of historical research are the war history of the first half of the 20th century, and the political and social history of the 20th century. He has published articles in Lithuanian and foreign periodicals. Since 2006 he works in the field of museology, is a member of the Lithuanian Museum Council. From 2019 he is the director of the Kaunas Ninth Fort Museum. Marius Pečiulis was appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of the Association of Lithuanian Museums since 2021.
