Greta Klimavičiūtė-Minkštimienė was responsible for the Community culture program “We, the People” at Kaunas 2022.  She was in charge of the projects that promote active involvement of local people (development of participatory culture) in cultural community activities (raising the awareness of community arts) in different territories of Kaunas City and Kaunas District (cultural decentralisation) in order to achieve positive local impact and change.

Prior to Kaunas 2022, Greta worked with various municipalities in Lithuania, she carried out research and conducted feasibility studies in cultural, educational and tourism sectors, developed long-term strategies and short-term action plans. While working at Vytautas Magnus University, Greta participated in several projects focusing on Lithuania’s cultural policy issues and community practices in Lithuania and the neighbouring countries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Art Research and master’s degree in Social Anthropology (Sociology).
