Džiugas graduated from Vytautas Magnus University with the Bachelor’s degree in Acting (theatre and film) in 2017. In 2017–2019 he studied Hand to Hand (acro partnering) and Acrobatics at the FLIC Circus School of contemporary circus. During his studies he worked as an actor, dancer, and acrobat. In 2017 he was awarded the Fortūna diploma for the physical solo performance Nutricula devised by Yasen Vasilev. He is currently one of the teachers at Cirko Sapiens, the first contemporary circus centre in Lithuania. Džiugas is an active member of the Lithuanian Contemporary Circus Association. He also contributes to the European Capital of Culture Kaunas 2022 working together with circus director Roberto Magro.
