Further on this way, one will inevitably pop into the website of a tiny German label named \u201cIndustrial Culture\u201d, right along the title sporting the legendary phrase \u201cIndustrial Music for Industrial People!\u201d, presumably coined by the infamous Monte Cazazza, a member of the legendary British band Throbbing Gristle.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space empty_h=&#8221;2&#8243;][vc_row_inner row_inner_height_percent=&#8221;0&#8243; overlay_alpha=&#8221;50&#8243; gutter_size=&#8221;3&#8243; shift_y=&#8221;0&#8243; z_index=&#8221;0&#8243; limit_content=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_inner column_width_percent=&#8221;100&#8243; position_vertical=&#8221;middle&#8221; gutter_size=&#8221;3&#8243; overlay_alpha=&#8221;50&#8243; shift_x=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_y=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_y_down=&#8221;0&#8243; z_index=&#8221;0&#8243; medium_width=&#8221;0&#8243; mobile_width=&#8221;0&#8243; width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_column_text]The genre of industrial music, which was born on both sides of the Atlantic in the 70s, went beyond sound practice and delved into the visual and performative arts. Noise, industrial aesthetics, annihilation, bodies, sex, occult \u2013\u00a0all and any themes that were breaking the standards, defying the expectations of the audience, scaring, shocking and exploring the boundaries of the possible, were taken up by those creating industrial culture. Hence pretty soon, the\u00a0industrial culture became home for a variety of deviant pieces of art and liminal artistic practices.<\/p>\n<p>Over the span of forty years, industrial and later post-industrial culture has emerged from the deep underground and ended up on a well-lit stage;\u00a0misdemeanors which would have been regarded as despicable in the seventies, along with their\u00a0aesthetics, have been borrowed or sometimes even<a href=\"https:\/\/heathenharvest.org\/2016\/10\/11\/sub-cultural-appropriation-are-noise-artists-the-latest-to-be-targeted-by-haute-couture-pilfering\/\"> stolen by the pop culture<\/a>. Here we are, trying to answer to ourselves what, at present, might be called\u00a0the\u00a0industrial culture? The exploration will be carried out as a series of events, including sound residencies, workshops, interdisciplinary symposia, festivals, labs, performative discussions or anti-panels.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner column_width_percent=&#8221;100&#8243;
