The project is one of the main parts of the \u201cKaunas 2022\u201d program, centered around interwar heritage, its current significance to the global public &amp; protection of the modernist heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Partners of the two-year-long project from \u201cKaunas \u2013 European Capital of Culture 2022\u201d (Lithuania), \u201cLviv institute of cultural strategy\u201d (Ukraine), Brno center of interdisciplinary art \u201cVaizard, z.\u00fa.\u201d (Czechia), an association of regional development in the Kortrijk district and the intergovernmental heritage organization (Belgium) \u201cIntercommunale Leiedal\u201d invite artists to, along with local researchers and heritage communities, create 14 art projects in modernism buildings.<\/p>\n<p>The first stage of \u201cMoFu 360\/365\u201c begins \u2013 a selection of local and international creators for artistic interpretations in Kaunas, Lva, Brno, and Kortrijk is starting! Kaunas 2022 is holding auditions for artists from the city to go to Lviv or Kortrijk for no less than 15 days between May 1st and July 30th of 2021.\u00a0<strong>Applications will be accepted till January 15th, 2021, at 8 p.m. CET<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfpN0ebQCgfn9r017vDcdd9sx3hWOxuqvlRWE8PKmU9qtIlew\/viewform?fbclid=IwAR2rzLBML9doSZ2YDroQZQHFewN2TWP0CRgdd3jpcPfEVS2xr6wFb0MOLZ4\">\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applicants of the program must provide:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>your CV<\/li>\n<li>artistic portfolio<\/li>\n<li>visual documentation of your work (PDF, 10MB max)<\/li>\n<li>your project proposal<\/li>\n<li>accompanying visual documentation (3 photos\/pictures\/sketches max \u2013 optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Projected timeline<br \/>\n<\/strong>15\/01\/21: closure of an open call<br \/>\n22\/01\/21: the selection of artists<br \/>\n01\/05\/21-30\/07\/21: international residencies<br \/>\nJanuary 2022: final exhibition and publication<\/p>\n<p>2 projects will be selected by an international committee and funded by the organization. Upon selection of a project, the artwork\u2019s copyrights will stay with the artist. The final artwork\u2019s owner will be the host partner.
