The programme aims to explore the connections between different modernities and to unravel modernity as a phenomenon in the broader sense of time and space and across cultural, scientific, societal and industrial developments.<\/p>\n<p>In order to expand the notion of modernity, Reciprocal Residency Programme DeMo will be dedicated to the analysis of the modern architectural term EXISTENZMINIMUM and the intensity of its meaning in these fluctuating times. At the same time the theme of the open call is conceptually determined by the current instabilities and pandemic crisis which also define the limits of our existence as well as the restrictions of Western modernity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The artists will have the opportunity<\/strong> to develop the project together with experts from Serbia for two months and reside for three weeks in the beautiful Serbian city of Novi Sad.<\/p>\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p id=\"post-7825\" class=\"post-7825 post type-post status-publish format-standard has-post-thumbnail hentry category-news split\"><strong>All interested artists are invited to submit an application by 7th of October 2020, meeting the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"column\">\n<article id=\"post-7825\" class=\"post-7825 post type-post status-publish format-standard has-post-thumbnail hentry category-news split\">\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li class=\"\">to be professional in architecture, public art or visual arts;<\/li>\n<li>to have knowledge of critical urban theories would be an advantage;<\/li>\n<li>to have good English language skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Selected artists, 2 from Lithuania and 2 from Serbia, will receive:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>artist fee of 800 Euros, 2020;<\/li>\n<li>project guidance and personal online consultations with the local experts for residents\u2019 project development, November \u2013 December, 2020;<\/li>\n<li>accommodation and daily allowance for the period of 3 residency weeks in Kaunas and in Novi Sad;<\/li>\n<li>Travel* to\/from Serbia to\/from Kaunas and materials support for the art production in 2021;<\/li>\n<li>access to Kaunas\u00a0city\/Kaunas district\u00a0(LT) and Novi\u00a0Sad\/Serbia (RS) networks and resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>More information\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013<a href=\"http:\/\/kmn.lt\/en\/news\/demo-existenzminimum\/\"> here.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"column\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"column\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":91045,"template":"","format":"standard","categories":[411],"class_list":["post-91048","atviri_kvietimai","type-atviri_kvietimai","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-open-calls-en"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/kaunas2022.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/atviri_kvietimai\/91048","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/kaunas2022.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/atviri_kvietimai"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/kaunas2022.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/atviri_kvietimai"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/kaunas2022.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/91045"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/kaunas2022.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=91048"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/kaunas2022.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=91048"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
